Back in 2018 EKJ Auto Valet was created by my Dad back in my home village of Bilsthorpe, Nottinghamshire.
Cars have always been a part of my life for as long as I can remember.
I can always remember my Mum buying some Auto Glym Tar & Glue remover because she had driven my Dad's RS2000 through fresh tarmac, which caused it to spray all up the side of my Dad's pride & joy. I will leave that story there. You can make your own ending 😂
As a young boy I would watch my Dad polish and wax his pride and joys rangeing from Serria Cosworths to RS Series 1 turbos. So as soon as I could drive I followed in his footsteps.
For me career wise I spent the first 13 years of my adult life as a chef. I then went into warehouse and logistics, working my way up the management ladder for the next 10 years.
In late 2021 I decided to take the chance on my own valeting/detailing business just like my Dad had done 3 years previous. There is just something about taking something dirty and transforming it into something to be proud of.
I enjoy looking at customers faces when they see what can be done, and giving them an experience that they will tell all their friends & family about.

From 2021 till the Summer of 2024 this business was called EKJ Auto Valet Ellesmere Port. In the summer of 2024 the business was rebranded and named EKJ Valeting Detailing. Due to to continued success I have had, skills, education and experience has pushed me into the world of Car Detailing, and these services becoming the most popular from all of my services.

Back in 2017 my Dad created EKJ Auto Valet in my home village of Bilsthorpe just outside of Mansfield.
My dad has always had a huge passion for cars, and spent much of his life driving fast Ford's and attending car shows up and down the country. Santa Pod was his favourite place to go watching cars go up and down the drag strip.
His vision was not quantity but quality when it come to valeting cars. He also wanted to, what can be seen as an upper class service to be available and affordable to hard working normal folk as he would say.
My dad was, and still is my biggest inspiration in life. He has shown me what can be achieved with hard honest work.
My and my families life changed forever on February 4th 2022 when my dad unexpectedly passed away. He shown me everything I know and was always on the phone supporting me and helping me through my journey staring EKJ in the Ellesmere Port and surrounding area.
It is my job to now carry on what my dad created and to stick to our family values good honest hard work for our customers and people from our communities.
